About Good Writing

In 2022, I started Good Writing, LLC. Its organization further solidified writing as the “immovable boulder of my life.” Writing was the focus of my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and then became the focus of my post-university career.

Making writing the focus of my life has given me several professional and personal opportunities. The easiest example of this is that, through writing, I’ve been able to travel as a digital nomad for several years, living in countries such as Germany, Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria, Poland, Georgia, Thailand, South Korea, and France, where I now reside most of the time.

Now content writing as a career is changing. The rise of AI writing tools has us — at the very least —questioning what a writer does (or ought to do), how much content writers can produce, how a writer should engage with the text, how much a writer should be paid, how a writer can best provide value, etc. Further, the rise of AI search has industry leaders examining the long-term sustainability of building an organic lead channel with SEO-focused content strategies.

Most of the above are known unknowns. We’re figuring it out as we go.

For me, the focus has always been on writing, even long before I was able to make a career out of it the focus had been on writing.

So that’s where I will focus my energy again in this evolving landscape: the pursuit of good writing.
